Those are all pretty varied cuisines. And really, I would guess that with like a billion people, with diverse languages and religions and such, "indian food" would probably encompass a lot of different styles.

by west indian, do you mean like from the western part of India (Goa etc., , or the Caribbean (Jamaica)? Curiously, both have curry.
