Be careful. They're really narrow. Not thoroughly filling.

I have no real idea what I'm going to do in my class that starts in 15 minutes. Maybe political correctness. We're doing JS Mill's On Liberty.

I always end up with some lumberjack show or modern marvels: paint.

The gas station across from my office advertises "Newports and check chashing" On a big white sign. Next to the register they have a fish bowl full of individual trajoan magnum condoms for sale @ $.50 each. I felt like you all should know this.

My company announced a total no-smoking policy today. Not just in the building (duh) but anywhere on the premises. People are going ape-shit here right now.

My company announced the same back in the fall. The policy takes affect May 1st. I can't wait to see what happens, it's going to be an awesome day.

They always have offered it, but when the annoucement went out about going smoke free, my boss again offered that if anyone wishes to take part in any type of smoking cessation programs he'll reimburse them the cost. I don't believe that anyone took him up on it.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

It just occurred to me that I might never again go a day without hearing or reading the word "Twitter."

This fills me with a deep horror and no small amount of despair about humanity: it seems to me that anyone who's so self-involved that they'd constantly be letting "the world" know what they're doing, probably isn't doing anything I'd give the smallest shit about.

i hardly ever hear the word twitter, daj. maybe once or twice a week, and that's mostly b/c of shaq. maybe it's more of a "grown up" thing.

I said something to this effect on here about 2 weeks ago, but I said facebook as well.

I went on a date on Sunday night and I swear a good part of the conversation revolved around how I don't have facebook.
