Did we previously have healthcare legislation more progressive than the ACA? I genuinely don't know, but didnt think so. It was correctly viewed as a big win for Obama, arguments about No True Scotsman notwithstanding.

nope, didn't say we did.

it was a big win.

Ive not been able to sort the story about the $400M cash. Is there any chance that this is a cash that was tied up in the economic blockade that nations are now forced to pay in restitution? <its easier to ask you smart fellers to do the work for me>

Why wouldn't we judge American politics on the American political spectrum?

I don't like money in politics very much either, but that's about as fundamental as it gets.

It is very very different to outline policy goals in discussion with an elected official and to explicitly tying your financial support to a very specific legislative action and time frame.

Mr. Trump and the Republican National Committee raised $64 million through a joint digital and direct mail effort in July, according to his campaign. All told, Mr. Trump and his party brought in $82 million last month, only slightly behind Mrs. Clinton, and ended with an enormous pool of $74 million in cash on hand, suggesting he might now have the resources to compete with Mrs. Clinton in the closing stretch of the campaign.

"joint effort", eh?

so how much is for drumpf & how much for RNC? Especially after he's flipped off Ryan, McCain, etc?

According to FEC, he had about net $20 million at end of June (~$90 million in, $70 million out); meaning his campaign spent a lot of that $47 million loan he made. So how much will he want of the contributions to cover his loan?
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

That's great. Might almost be worth watching Hannity for a few minutes to night to see how he deals with that.

I remember a few months ago defending Fox's poll here as legit when they had Trump up in May. They're not bad.

Yeah you are right, they do always seem to be on the high end of a surge in either direction though. Wonder why that is.

Also in that poll, Obama's popularity is at the highest since Bin Laden's death...
