It's farther to the left than our old policy which was super conservative. Anything without single payer can't be considered liberal at this point.
That's just not true.
thanks for the take

It's pretty self apparent that when a bill gets passed by exclusively democratic members of congress and then the liberal hold on Congress gets slaughtered in the following election that the ACA was in fact Liberal legislation. I realize it doesn't reach your standards, but policy does not need a rubber stamp from you to be correctly considered progressive or liberal.

Even if that silly argument was legit and not just campaign politics, does she at least acknowledge Hillary has done some stuff since 2008?

No, the only thing regarding Clinton doing anything in the past 8 years was her mention of Comey and the FBI. The unsaid premise of the snark article centers around the idea that Obama sold his soul to the Clintons to get her support 8 years ago and this is 'icy pragmatism' payback. And that's a bad thing because Dowd greatly dislikes the Clintons...that enough should be reason not to endorse your successor I guess?

Yeah, Dowd has a pathological hatred for the Clintons. She used to be fun to read, but she's totally jumped the shark.

every time you post something as worthless and condescending as this, i want to spend like 30 minutes constructing a post about how many bad arguments you made or how many fake arguments you've constructed from my statements, but then i realize it's not worth it and move on with my day.

you two have moved on to the more important business of name-calling, but with respect to ACA this disinterested party feels you both have it partly right

[NJ] Senate President Stephen Sweeney said Wednesday said threats by public worker unions to withhold campaign contributions unless the Senate puts a proposed constitutional amendment guaranteeing pension payments on the fall ballot amounts to "bribery" and "extortion" and should be investigated by state and federal officials.
