I'm pretty sure Trent Steele would never pull his dick out for politics
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

“You think of the term as being fine, but all of sudden you say, what if you’re in Germany or Japan or any one of 100 different countries? You’re not going to like that term,” said Trump. “It’s very insulting and Putin really put it to him about that.” [...]

“Other nations and other countries don’t want hear about American exceptionalism. They’re insulted by it. And that’s what Putin was saying.”

President Obama on his apology tour? No, Donald Trump in 2013.

Whatever one thinks of the term (i think it depends HOW you use it), it's hilarious to see the Republicans abandon many political phrasings and conventions they hold dear to continue to support this man.

Just pull up the 15th most recent politics thread to see people freaking out about polls showing Trump ahead 2 weeks ago.

Not willing to say this is over.

yeah, but this "hillary's definitely got this" sentiment is the opposite spectrum.

if she's up 8-11 points next week, it's probably over; if it goes back to 3-6, it's not.

A better question is if he'd put it back in. Now THAT's sacrifice.

I'm starting to think this is his way to exit. He could still find a way out. Seems like he's just trying to make it possible with all this craziness. Mitt then jumps in and acts the savior. The GOP makes peace (except Cruz, who everyone hates anyway) and Mitt pounds Clinton into the sand because he's put himself in the position of being the reasonable one throughout this.

Worse than that, Trump has moved the goalposts to the right even more. Now you can be Mitt or Cruz or Rubio and appear centrist even though they are far from it. Trump has already done damage

Think about it, why would Mitt criticize Clinton so much if he really wants Trump to lose. He doesn't want Trump to lose, he wants Trump gone so he can jump in. He's already started campaigning.

I've seen some theories on some of the leftist sites I visit that this was all just a massive ego stroke and he never intended to win and plans to flame out before the election. Wouldn't be the most surprising revelation ever, imo. Him dropping out would not surprise me in the least especially if polls keep trending bad for him. A guy like Donald never loses, he just takes his ball and goes home.

People were calling Kasich a moderate!

coincidentally, this is why i don't like people acting like Hillary is this grand leftist.

I'll be so sick of it if he drops out. Then the RNC can nominate basically whomever they want. Still think it's an extremely small likelihood.

I have no clue what will happen with The Donald but I do think this is the case. Rubio is speaking at an anti-gay event IN Orlando after using the Orlando shooting as the reason for him coming back into public life. This isn't what a 'centrist' does.
