calvin, this is a guy who demanded a crying baby be escorted from the room he was giving a speech in. this whole damn election is unprecedented.

Yeah, there's no way his ego lets him drop out.

Expound on this a bit more
A Tea Party, Freedom Caucus guy who was instrumental in starting the push to oust Boehner lost his primary tonight to a doctor backed by a coalition of agriculture groups and more business oriented GOP groups (aka The Establishment). Huelskamp lost his seat on the Agriculture Committee because he was disloyal, and it's like the most ag centric district in the country. Not exactly a clean win, since I really dislike farm subsidies, but I'll take any scalp I can get from the Freedom Caucus, and I'm sure the Chamber feels the same way.

It's a really impressive death spiral. Just tremendous. The Nightman Cometh wrote:why, the media narrative is actually that Trump is unraveling. Finally starting to cover him like the lunatic he is.

1 of 2 things will happen
1. He drops out.
2. He graciously accepts defeat and tries to unif....hahahahahahahahaha. He claims the election was rigged by "Crooked Hillary" and America is terrible.
Paul Ryan then comes out to announce the next 4 years are about stopping Hillary Clinton from destroying America(read: doing anything) and we get a repeat of 2008-2016. See you all in 2024.

Trump only goes into THE BEST death spirals. Not like that loser Crooked Hillary.

I still have hope that a liberally stacked Supreme Court will make significant changes to the current system. If the Dems are in control in 2020 I believe they can redistrict in their favor.
I also think that the American people can take so much obstructionism. There will be massive pressure on the government to pad legislation on guns and immigration. HRC needs to do a better job of explaining to the American people what the republicans are doing. Hopefully the Bernie grassroots movement will encourage people to start changing things at the local level.

It's farther to the left than our old policy which was super conservative. Anything without single payer can't be considered liberal at this point.

That's just not true.
