Trump trying to lose is too good to be true. He is just an idiot being advised by political outcasts.

Now Ryan can't unendorse him without looking bad (insulting every group under the sun including dead solders families is ok but not me personally)
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Ryan was always very unlikely to unendorse him because he's convinced himself (and he's probably right) that he needs to at least tacitly support Trump for the sake of his caucus. I don't imagine this will figure into it one way or another.

Also Obamas concern trolling today probably stops them from revoking endorsements as well. Can't change just because obummer told them to.

Yep. Already clear that many members of congress are already less willing to put a defense of Trump on then they were even a few weeks ago though. Not sure how much of an effect that has on the election, but could be enough to be relevant if this gets close again.

I suppose the real question is if the Trump is icky enough to turn the senate or if they'll be enough ticket splitting to save the senate for the GOP

This is where I wish the media was better at their job. Why didn't Wolf Blitzer call her out?

It's a sad day when one of the most prominent television "journalists" can't manage what 95% of litigation attorneys would be able to do on cross-examination. She threw him a batting practice fastball over the heart of the plate, and he whiffed.

One might suspect that he wasn't inclined to humiliate a person who is a CNN regular.

This thread title is great. Really great. Just the best.

Exciting primary in KS-01 tonight with Rep. Tim Huelskamp, Freedom Caucus fella/a real idiot, being challenged by some doctor named Roger Marshall who is getting support from the Chamber. Marshall is leading in (very) early returns. If a Freedom Caucus scalp could be taken in a primary, that might be a big deal.
