So it looks as though NJ is going to become the fifth state to have MW covered in its constitution. Vote is 62-38 with 35% of the vote in. Dana Redd well ahead in Camden City and my current slate of legislators are heading back to Trenton. Still waiting to hear how my race turned out but it looks good

Think our school board got rid of the crazy tea party people. So that's great.

Christie is winning 19/21 counties, and at 44% in Hudson freaking County. Losing Essex 62-37%.

He's up 12% in Camden almost fully counted. We won't see this again for a long time.

Looks like the GOP only picked up 2 seats in the Assembly and none in the Senate. Tough map and got outspent by an insane amount, but still disappointing.

On the other side of that, the VA GOP picked up a veto proof majority in their lower House. Wut

Somebody tweeted that it was a good night for the Republican establishment. Insomuch as that means it was a bad night for their jihadist wing, huzzah.

Though maybe it's that the prospect of unified rule by the Democratic machine here in NYC is making me feel more Republican than usual. And by usual, I mean pretty much ever.

For everyone supposedly being so pissed off, it sure was a good day to be an incumbent in New Jersey, Republican or Democrat.

Glad to see AC show it's capable of turning someone out though.

This was republicans best chance to take a legislative branch in New Jersey, and they couldn't pull it off. Lot of incompetence from the GOP down here. We were expecting a much closer race, and the fact that it wasn't is on them.

That being said, the GOP window in NJ is closing as fast as the phillies window did. Also I am drunk. Victory!
