I know, right? There was a third meat in there as well. It was called the club sandwich pack and it was 3 lbs.

so tonight at my little brother's birthday dinner at my parents' my mom thought it was a good idea to try and grab the backs of two chairs and lift herself up. chair kicks out, she lands on the ground with a loud thud and breaks her wrist. thought she had a concussion at first too bc she was so out of it but it looks like it was just shock

Listening to David Bowie's "Low" for the first time. Didn't even know it existed before tonight, but interesting first listen. Also now I know where Warszawa gets his name.

It goes without saying that dad blames you for the fall?
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

So there were 15 of us at dinner, and paying the check took at least 20 minutes. Four of the 15 paid by credit card. It was probably what hell feels like. And it was in between games so I couldn't even go to the bar to pretend to watch basketball. To be fair, when it got to the last person and they threw in, we had exactly the $636 that we owed. Which was impressive both because people paid what they owed and the sheer randomness of getting such a weird number right.

I'm glad I've been very consistent on this issue through all the threads

There are new posters. They can hear my wisdom and complaints for the first time.

I'm prepared for any April Fools joke for the next hour. When I wake up, I probably won't be on guard. So there's your only chance, people.

I was walking across campus at like 11:30 tonight to my car, and three young African American gents who looked like they were up to no good (Zimmerman'd) were walking in my direction. We kind of did a nod thing to each other as we passed. Sometimes it's good to be big, even though I'm a huge pussy.
