By the way, on the heals of unexpectedly positive GDP numbers, July's numbers should be a bit more sobering--personal income and spending down sharply, inflation jumped.

You put it all together, and you understand that for ordinary Americas, increases in GDP don't mean dick. The game is now rigged so that the fruits economic growth go only to the top.

well, all of his policies and the analysis of those policies is readily available online. so I dont know what you were hoping to learn from last night's speech.

I'm a little confused by this. I wouldn't have been able to go to my school without federal subsidy, and my alternative would have been a state school that relies on state subsidy. Seems like one area the govt is doing pretty good.
