I don't often post in this thread, but... Palin is a nobody. A lightweight. She's not in the top 200 of qualified Republican VP candidates. Frankly, it's a disgrace that this is what it has come to - a compeletly unqualified person in every aspect being a heartbeat away from the Presidency because that is what is required to win the election.

Trent, you are concluding she's a lightweight based on what? Wait until she goes through the VP debate and Sunday morning talk shows, etc. It's not a disgrace at all. Ffs, Obama has been a fucking senator for 3.5 years, 1.5 of which he's been running for president. He's not a heartbeat away from the presidency. He'll be president on day one. Is that a fucking disgrace?

Based on her resume and her background. Unfair? Maybe. But she was picked to fill a campaign role without any regard to her qualifications and ability to actually be VP.
