He won the Super Bowl.

We're gonna win an election. Or at least come way closer than we deserve considering how unpopular Bush is. You won't think it's pretty. You won't understand it, but it's life, chump.

She's giving a good speech right now. And everyone here is trashing it. EVERYONE. Jesus. You guys are just in an alternative world here.

You're right. It's like she's yucking it up at a private gathering. In all seriousness, this is one of the most snarky things I've ever seen, from a woman who no one even knew existed one month ago. I can't see this helping

she's stephen colbert, if stephen colbert was a real person

it's weird to hear her call it the 'do nothing' senate...what can they do? and don't conservatives like 'do nothing' government?

I love ya jersey, but you're off your rocker on this one. She's an absolute disaster in just about every way possible (except in appealing to other absolute disasters, which is the point, I suppose).
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

Anyway, the real problem with all this is that we really haven't hear any reason to vote for McCain, other than that he's not Obama.

im not trying to be a hater or condescending or anything right now.. but... this is actually a very very bad speech. like, it actually is. i wish i could get some kind of alien to come down and type this for me so you could tell that i am not tainted. i thought Fred Thompson gave a great speech yesterday, i didnt agree with a word he said, but i thought he dd a good job. this palin speech is really very bad and does nothing to show that she has any kind of experience to lead this country.

Trent, I actually care about what you think. I'll watch the recap on CNN. Honestly, I think she's done a good job. I'm not shilling here. I don't get paid enough to shill. I think she's done quite a good job.

I'll see what the pros think, and not cocoon in the comforts of Fox.

that's pretty much been the thrust of the rep campaign so far.
"our guy sucks less, vote mccain"

i don't think this speech is horrid or anything, i just think she hasn't:
1) brought anything new to the table
2) addressed any of the many questions or concerns that people have about her, in specific
3) done anything to convince someone on the fence to vote republican

this is basically her biggest chance to convince the country that SHE personally is ready and qualified to lead the country, and she has NOT done that.
