The only guy I'd give 200+ to this year is Price. No draft pick compensation either.

Wow, 821 allowed in 2007 to 809 in 2015.

Of course, in 2007 the Phillies scored 892 runs, versus 626 this year. That 892 is 1 more than this year's vaunted Blue Jays offense.

*Sigh* Stupid Rockies.

More from the *sigh* department... the Phillies anemic 626 run output was only 21 less than the 100 win Cardinals. Of course, I'm sure their collection of punchable &%@$ %@&% #&%$ing @&$#&$%@ ass %&@# slingers will find a way to average 6 runs a game on their way to another World Series title.

God I hate baseball.

A guy that interests me is Doug Fister. If he was a free agent last year he would've gotten 5/100+. Doubt he's tendered by the Nationals. After a disastrous year he might look for a one year show me deal. Offer him 1/15 and if he does well trade him at the deadline or get a comp pick at the end of the year if doesn't resign. Samardzija is another guy I'd do this for but he might be tendered. Maybe even offer 1/20 to convince them to do a one year deal with a rebuilding team.

Do we lose a pick if we sign Heyward?

2nd rounder, but #43 overall, right?

Not sure he's worth the money plus the pick.

Phillies invite Bowa, Henderson, McClure and Samuel to return to coaching staff. Nichols and Mizerock will not be back.

Steaks says phils granted the marlins permission to interview bowa for manager. Also thinks Samuel might move on.

Yes and the allotment for #43ish pick which would hurt just as much.
