We don't have any out here in the bay. median cost of 1 bedroom apt in SF is $3200.

They are now legal to make these miniature apts that are like for the Japanese -- starting at $1800.

Is there no chance Asche improves? Have we seen all he can be already?

I'd pass on DeShields. While a top 3 pick, he hasn't progressed/developed. Bad hit tool, many things wrong with his mechanics that he hasn't been able to correct. Even with a current ceiling of replacement level, you'd be hard pressed to find a scout that thinks he'll come anywhere near that ceiling.

Skole is intriguing. Plus power, good eye, strong OBP. Average fielder at 3B, above average at 1B, should be capable of transitioning to corner OF. A top prospect ascending thru the system until a non-throwing arm injury sidelined him. I'd say Skole is definitely worth a Rule 5 flier, though he would benefit from some more time in the minors to catch up on lost development due to the injury.
