For just 2015 production I agree but Bogaerts has franchise player potential. I'd be tempted by Bogaerts, Bradley Jr (still think he's at worst an elite CF defender) and Barnes. Manuel Margot is another guy I'd love to somehow get. I really want elite offensive talent more than pitching prospects for Hamels. By the time we're ready to compete those pitching prospects will be getting TJ and we'll have the money to buy a SP. I like the Cubs as a partner better for this reason. Would anyone do Kris Bryant for Hamels straight-up?

I think the deal will be Bogaerts, Cespedes and Owens - would definitely do that. Cespedes can be given a QO after the season to get a pick.

Sign Yasmani and put Brown in RF, cut Howard and deal Byrd. Would definitely try to get Rollins to go to the As and Utley to the Dodgers with Galvis and Hernandez getting their shots,

Cespedes can't receive a qualifying offer.
