Well this was the point I made when I halfheartedly praised the trade on the Red Sox front. Said then it was getting a guy who could be good there and get their guy back. Also that it opened a window for a Hamels-Sox trade at the time. It shut quick.

I also don't believe that Lester will come back. Has there ever been a scenario where that happened despite the many times it's been speculated?

Lee maybe? Well that idea came from his own mouth before he was traded. Almost seemed like he said the idea of a return thing so he wouldn't leave. If I was the GM I would have been a little mad. Had to hurt his trade value a bit.
