I was shocked, but there was a HUGE amount of Phillies fans there..

Arizona fans were very classy as well..

Went to games in AZ couple years ago and can agree with the statement.

Go to Games in SD and its insane amount of Phills fans. CBP West.

The great Washington Nationals have walked even less than the Phils.
.

And their offense has been terrible. They are another good example of why patience is important.

As for the power, it's not hard to believe that a team with an aging core that added Young and Revere as their main offensive players this offseason would have a hard time with SLG.

Anyway, as long as the pitchers, the ones who have given up the most runs in the NL (as of a few days ago), keep giving up 3 runs or less, we should be fine. No worries. It's all good.

listening to the radio, you would have thought Howard struck out with RISP to end the game and the Phils went 0-7 on the road trip

by 'listening to the radio' do you mean WIP AFTER the game is over? why would you do that to yourself?

A quick review shows starters have allowed 3 or fewer runs in 17 of the last 18 non-Halladay starts. Of course we lost a bunch of those games too, but SP is on a nice roll.

well that's good. and that explains how they no longer have the worst ERA. The offense really is the key.

Cool story from Murph today about our pitching being unsustainable, based on Boner's good fortune. No mention of being 1-7 in the Hamels games or Halladay faring the worst in MLB

Guys who are going good can not possibly sustain it. Guys who are having tough luck or who are going through a rough patch will never, ever be good again. Have you learned nothing?

I'm still in a weird spot with this team. I definitely would prefer them to remain competitive throughout the summer so I have something to do with my nights, but I get so angry at the crap filling out this roster when they lose that I don't even know what to think.

You guys do realize they went 4-3 on the west coast trip and not 1-6, right?
