There are currently nine (9) Dom Brown threads on the first page. Could a mod please combine some of them?

Do you have a better idea in how to get 9 Dom Browns?

Feel like if Brown keeps hitting and Amaro is still in charge of the club this coming off-season, he'll go just short of selling his family to try to land Giancarlo. YOUTH MOVEMENT.

More than likely, he will give Dom a 10 year, $200 million contract...since he doesn't have to.

And Dom will turn it down because it's not in the team's best interest. Instead will take ML minimum and insist Amaro donates $5 MM a year to fund new schools in the Congo
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

The first round of All-Star voting figures were released. Utley is 3rd for 2Bs (500,000 behind Phillips)....and that's it. Nobody else in the top 5 at any position, and none in the top 15 for OFs

Posey/Votto/Phillips/Tulo/Panda/Braun/Justin Upton/Harper

Also Dom isn't one of the 10 NL candidates for the HR derby

Since this surge is so recent, and they have been taking votes for this years All-Star game since 1996, he has a lot of ground to make up, but he should get a ton of votes now.

Morosi

You wonder if Lee is thinking, “Here we go again.”

In fact, he is.

“Yeah, pretty much,” Lee acknowledged Friday, during an interview at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. “Nothing I can do about it, so I’m not going to get too caught up in it.”

That’s not entirely accurate: Lee can do something about it. His contract with the Phillies includes a 20-team no-trade clause. Only nine teams can acquire Lee without his permission. So if the Phillies make him available in the days leading up to the July 31 deadline, he could limit his market to roughly one-third of the major leagues.

In resetting the list of clubs before this season, the 34-year-old and his agents structured the clause such that it would have maximum impact. While Lee didn’t want to discuss specific teams with FOXSports.com, major league sources say most of the 20 teams subject to the provision are projected trade-deadline “buyers.”

The New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles are among the 20 teams that would need Lee’s permission to acquire him
, the sources told FOXSports.com.

I really don't want to see Lee traded.
