Mayberry was the hero last opening day. Hit a big double with Wiggy on 1st in a tie game in the 7th. Wiggy scored on a sacrifice fly for the only run of the game.

Hope no one plays the Galvis role this year.

as long as he doesn't play full time, we can hide his weaknesses. its on nixxy to provide a good platoon, but unlike most, i like him. Seem to remember him being real good before he got hurt, but that was so long ago

Steaks was on WIP. Apparently Manuel made a comment to reporters last week about him being one of the best "evaluators" in the organization and that being underappreciated. Donnellon and Cataldi (of course) were off to the races about it being a shot at Amaro, but Steaks took it more as Manuel reminding the reporters he was really worried this time last year and feels much better this time.
