I think most assume Rollins will be 100 percent by playoff time, and in that situation, it should be a no-brainer that he gets put back in. But for the time being and the team sitting on cruise control, I wouldn't mind extra rest for Rollins during this injury-plagued season of his.

Looks like Rauuuul's kissing the top of that bald guy's head.

And what's up with the size of that one guy's head? (actually looks like ascending seats correspond to ascending hat size).

I'm on board with "give Rollins an extra week" too if that would help significantly

I'm pretty sure both of you will flip flop on this feeling on the next Valdez DP and instead advocate putting him on a iceberg

You might be right, unless said potential DP hits off the ump. Still, a less than 100 percent Rollins isn't anything I like to see on the field. I think the reason I personally have some leniance on the situation is that we're 4 games up and likely to increase our lead. If it's do or die time for the division, I think I would put a 95 percent Rollins out there because I still trust his clutch bat. The most important thing to me concerning him is his ability to steal bags and run the bases, which he would struggle at if he weren't all the way healthy or just about there. So long as we continue to steamroll our way to 100 potential wins, Rollins can take all the time he needs.

On the other hand, time's running out... each passing day is one less day to get back in form in time for the postseason.

After this series I'll likely be in support of this.

Another new stadium? The Phillies could have gotten Cliff Lee with that money.

So I was thinking last night...

In 2008, lidge was the big offseason acquisition, he was "perfect", they won the world series, and the video yearbook (narrated by lidge) was called "the perfect season"

In 2010, halladay was the big offseason acquisition, he pitched a perfect game (CLIFF LEE)...

So yeah, pick out your spot on the parade route.

The Perfect Sequel
