tonight yom kippur begins
i'll be breaking my fast at the ballpark
and then friday pretty much my wedding weekend insanity begins, and i'll be only vaguely following the phils until i get back home, when hopefully they'll be in the world series
something symbolic/poetic about that

I want freakin tickets. The Phillies keep emailing me telling me to buy them on Stubhub. Didn't win either lottery.

I am so excited and I just can't hide it! I'm so, I'm so scared
Do it again!

Excitement is building at a crazy pace. I was chill for the NLDS, I didn't wanna get too excited after last year, but now it really feels like the playoffs. I'm planning my life around these games, I'm pissed I had tickets to the Eagles game, I was really close to selling them in the lot and going to McFaddens and watching the Phills game. I actually really wish I'd done that. But that's all in the past, tomorrow night is gonna be the shiz. yo. I'm happy it's on fox because TBS's HD feed doesn't work here. I'm not making sense. still not sleeping. I might not sleep until the playoffs are over.

Looking forward (reaaaally forward), the only games I would be missing are game 6 of the NLCS and game 6 of the WS. That's kind of exciting. Stupid The Who concert I bought tickets to months ago!!!

wow i can't believe you scheduled a wedding for a october! i don't think i could do that. i got married in may and that was tough enough-- i did my best not to be the guy checking his fantasy team on his honeymoon from that espn phone commercial. it was easier since they went like 5-1 that week or something like that.

my friend is getting married a week from saturday, during what would be game 7 of the nlcs. there is approximately a 31.25% that i will consider killing him. i can haz phils in 6 pls??

in hindsight, maybe it wasn't the best idea, but my fiancee and i are both big fans of the PA autumn and this is really the best time of the year for fall colors and whatnot before it gets too cold.

but i got to go to NLDS games 1 and 2, and i get to go to NLCS game 1, so i really can't complain too much. all i really wanted was to see a playoff game in person (especially after being stuck out of town and missing it last year, and i get to see 3 (and possibly 4 if we make the WS). and i don't think anything i see in person is going to top the Myers walk-Vic GS inning anyway unless i get to see the phils actually win the WS in person.

Just got back from the stadium. I stopped in the Majestic store while I was down there. Lots of cool NLCS merchandise available. There was a really cool long sleeved Phillies/Dodgers shirt, only problem was, it was Dodger blue!!
