I cant suggest jordan jesse go! enough. It's hilarious.

it's partly his interview style, too. there was a time when he would spend 20 minutes talking about how jealous he was of the person he was interviewing, he turns everything around back onto him, etc. He's too self-involved, although he seems to be getting better at it

That's partly why the Stephen Tobolowsky one is so good. He barely lets Maron get a word in.

Tobo has his own better podcast where he tells all those tales and more. Only time i was ever choked up listening to a podcasr was his recounting of the death of his mother

Klosterman on the BS Report.

Also, if anyone is into pop culture, then check out Who Charted? with Howard Kremer. it's pretty fun. you can even go back and check out old episodes, even though the material is kind of dated because they review the top movies and music of the week. it's still hilarious.

I normally love these, but the first 45 minutes were weak. Simmons is in way over his head even though they're discussing basketball.

Yeah, it seemed like Simmons kept talking himself in circles for a half hour because he didn't really know what point he was trying to make.

Simmons' baseball talk is usually pathetic, as it's just yankees/red sox. he had kevin millar on and i had to turn it off 15 minutes in. it was pointless to anyone of any other team.

i guess i'd do the same if i could get my favorite ballers in an hour discussion, though

I enjoy The Book of Basketball, excellent book to read a few pages of while you're taking a dump. He may not know a damn thing X's and O's wise, but he really does love the NBA.
Continued success, thanks for comin' on the show!

My brother, My brother, and me. Check it out. It's affiliated with Jordan Jesse Go! and Sound of Young America. It's three brothers fixing the world's petty problems.

I deleted the Carolla podcast today after five minutes because of Andrew Breitbart's nonsense. But I've heard every other minute of the show for the last few weeks.

Maybe I'm just burned out, having heard Breitbart with Carolla and seen him with Maher a few times recently. I normally love the Carolla one on ones (no knock on Bryan and Alison).
