I've been listening to Joe Posnanski's podcast a lot. A) It's great. But B) I had never heard his voice before. He sounds like someone and I can't place who and it's driving me crazy. Anyone have any thoughts? I feel like it's someone famous.

If you like comic books some friends of mine started a podcast (well, re-launched an old podcast). It's good stuff, very entertaining and well produced. PaperKeg

If you're interested in the people who make comics, Word Balloon with John Siuntres (who is also a Chicago sports radio-guy with Sporting News) is fantastic. Long form conversations with writers and cartoonists - you really get in to how they work and how the industry works.

Bill Simmons, Jon Hamm, and Adam Scott talking sports movies on Doug Loves Movies - funny start, will be listening on the ride into work.

Jon Hamm was on Comedy Death Ray a few months back and he was hilarious. Also, Comedy Death Ray had been renamed Comedy Bang Bang. It is still awesome, too.

I kind of hate Maron but love his podcast. Andrew Dice Clay seemed like a great dude on the most recent episode.

For "This American Life" fans, the app is cool. You can stream every episode ever, and/or you can save them to your phone one at a time to listen to offline. I just heard the one about the dude who hustled Press Your Luck.

Went to the live taping of the WTF podcast tonight. Really good lineup. Ira Glass, Morgan Spurlock, Joe Mande, Nick DiPaolo and the final guest was Artie Lange. He looked good and was hilarious. A few other guests in there too. Really fun night.

A new favorite:

Mike and Tom Eat Snacks (MATES)

The concept-
1) pick a snack
2) eat the snack
3) rate the snack

Starring Michael Ian Black and Tom Cavanaugh, former castmates of TV's "Ed".
These guys have a great rapport and good banter. And it's such a great idea for a podcast.
Do it.

Agree with you kids on the Cousin Sal fake Simmons voicemail. I used to skip the Simmons/Cousin Sal podcast. Gave it a chance and now I'm hooked. Love Cousin Sal.
