I bagged on the new Carolla format early on but I am now loving it. Not sure if it's the newsgirl or me getting used to the sound effects or what

This makes me want to give it another chance but I don't think I have room in my life for another podcast.

I hear ya. I've been taking walks on my lunch break to fit another one in. Maybe just try the first half hour? They usually do the news and rants first, then a guest. Also

Alison rosen is amazing and funny but the show is kinda terrible and repetitive unless they have a good fuest.

I usually never listen to the guest actually. I do like a lot of the games they play, particularly Totally TIVO trivia.

David Alan Grier is always good and Alan Parsons was interesting - discussed working on Abbey Road and Dark Side of the Moon among other things.

I love Germany or Florida but, although I usually enjoy Larry Miller, the cross-country road trip game has got to go.

I was sick of it for awhile but have come back - wondered what Allison looked like and I'm impressed.

It does get a lil repetitive, and following Adam's stories and associated tangents is impossible pre-coffee in the am, but I keep coming back.

Agree that hypothetical road trip is played out.

I'd do Ms. Rosen in the face and vagina.
who talks like that? goodness.

Really enjoyed the Marc Maron WTF Podcast with Stepehen Tobolowsky (character actor, played Ned Ryerson in Groundhog Day and Sammy Jankis in Memento). Dude's a great storyteller with some amazing stories.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. The Mencia ones (75 and 76) fascinated me.

Maron is obnoxious as hell, but I can't think of a better interviewer. he gets these guys to talk about everything.

grote and I both mentioned it, but the Dane Cook one was great
