Was going to have a hard time winning NE-2 to begin with. Going to be a bit harder if he freezes a bunch of people who are going to vote for him.

is the prevailing thought that the presidential election result won't be called until at least a few days later?
cause that will kinda suck.

Yes, it may take a while. It always takes a few days or weeks to get al the counts together and have every vote counted in every district around the country. That's normal, but there are few enough votes remaining that the election result is known. What's different this time is that there may be enough votes outstanding that the result isn't known, perhaps for weeks if it comes down to a couple states.

It might get ugly.

That’s because they are more robust on FL for Biden than anybody else. Obviously if Biden wins FL Trump is finished. I just don’t see how they are so confident he will when nobody else is.

especially with the current gov, who has had his thumb on the scales after being helped to the governor spot by Scott in 2018.

I am so tired at the multiple interviews I've heard over the last two days that people are voting for Trump because they are Republicans, so that is how you vote. Straight ticket mentality makes my brain want to explode.

A farmer on NPR was interviewed echoed what others have said that Trump handled COVID as best he could with the information they have had. A proven falsehood given his own words. He also said that he had to slash his prices and cut his production of milk over the last few years, but Trump is delivering tax cuts and negotiating trade policies that help him. Wut?

Maybe officially, but we should have a good idea if Biden wins Florida on election night, and if he wins Florida, he basically wins.

If he loses Florida then you're likely needing to wait until PA and WI count their shit, which could take time.

Is the VA-5 congress race flying under the radar nationally? It is fascinating. Good VS Webb. I think Calvin mentioned seeing a lot of signage down there in central VA.

VA-5 is Virginia's largest voting district with an area of 10,181.03 square miles which is larger in area than six US states. Cook has it as R+6, but it seems hyper competitive.

County-level GOP leaders are going to slow roll the counting of mail-in ballots. I am sure they only have the best of intentions:

think this is going to have way more impact on state house/senate races than anything.

So all these busy voting locations are going to be super spreader events, right?

Arizona will drop like 80-85% of their vote right at 11 PM. Typically later votes are Dem there, but this year I'd guess the opposite. Tough to get a great read unless it's not close.

NC should also drop like 80-85% of their vote shortly after 7:30. Votes that roll in after that though should be quite Republican, so again tough to get much of a feel unless Trump's already ahead (which he won't be).

Georgia, not sure.

The Republican candidate’s name is Good? Man, I can just imagine the ads. “Classic battle of the left versus Good” “Do you want to be on the side of Good or Democrats?” “We need a Good man representing us”

Actually a red mirage in PA, Michigan and Wisconsin will be tougher to deal with. If it happens Trump will be claiming victory in those states and doing everything he can to keep further votes from being counted — a process he’s already started with 2 SCOTUS decisions already and another on the way.
