If you go back to 2016 and asked 10 people on this board who voted for Clinton how they felt about her, you're going to see a lot more negativity than you would if you asked 10 people now voting for Biden how they feel about him. Surely some of that is Trump-related, but he's infinitely more likeable than her, and doing my best to say that without sounding misogynistic while just speaking the truth. It's a different race than 2016 in so many ways. You can even start with the fact that the candidate is from a battleground state where he's well-liked in many areas. The polls in Wisconsin and Michigan are completely different than 2016. I don't understand the negativity. If Trump pulls this off, it's the greatest political upset in history.

Biden has a mile long history of being a shitty person(helped decimate the working middle class and destroy generations of african american families). He'll probably do worse than Hilary in the burbs(who have truly benefited from Trump) and will have to do much much better in the cities than Hilary did and i'm not sure he's capable of that(hoping that being VP to Obama helps out there).
All the polling seems extremely favorable but there's plenty of warning signs that dampen that enthusiasm(along with just seeing the general Trump enthusiasm in the area that is overwhelming).

There is a difference between enacting shitty policy with shitty outcomes and being a shitty person. Joe Biden, by all accounts, is one of the most empathetic and caring people in politics.
Also all the takes I've seen are suburban women fleeing President Trump so I'm not sure why you think he'll do worse in the suburbs (also Philly suburbs or suburbs in general?)

Setting aside anything else about this take, the idea that Biden is somehow a worse or less likeable candidate than Hillary strikes me as a willful disregard of the obvious.
This is not to say that I am overly confident, but Hillary was uniquely not good.
