One thing I hear over and over from Trump supporters is they’re voting for him because he’ll get the businesses back up and running. The one point I wish Biden had hammered again and again was: If Trump had acted more broadly and decisively from a national perspective we could have crushed the curve long ago and many more businesses would be operating again. The idea that Trump gets a pass on businesses being closed for so long when he could have done so much more to create a safer environment for them to open really bothers me.
