none of this has been substantiated and it's not like biden is running against jimmy carter. shouldn't move the needle against a grifter who paid less income taxes than me, you and most of america.

anybody who has any knowledge at all about scriptwriting will recognize that for what it is- expository dialog. It's not meant to be conversational, but to advance the plot (i.e. let the audience know what's going on or what the backstory is) very quickly. Nobody talks like that, with the level of detail that "hunter" did there. It was a script, plain and simple.

Watching old victory and concession speeches for some reason tonight and it’s like unfathomable that Trump was this coherent and gracious when he won. Even watching it now I vaguely recall thinking to myself, “Maybe he’ll surprise everybody and be good.” Well we know how that worked out but honestly it’s unthinkable today that he was even capable of making this speech then:

He's reading a prepared speech they worked on over months during the campaign. He hasn't done that since, save for a few state of the unions.

So I guess those are state level charges? I hope so. Let them serve their time in MI and then have to go to OH to serve that time. By the time they get out, Ivanka will be a grandmother (and probably secretary of state)

Had to take the car into a garage today and spent 6 hours walking around Somerset, wasting time until it was done. First, there were many more Biden signs than I expected. The main road and the rural areas have almost only Trump signs, but the side streets in town had as many Biden as Trump signs. It was encouraging.

What wasn't encouraging was eating at a deli and nobody in there was wearing a mask. They were having a conversation about COVID and the election and the consensus was that the virus would disappear as soon as the election is over. They seem to think it's just a hoax to get people to vote out Trump. The one woman was a "nurse for 27 years" and she said masks are not needed because it's like trying to stop mosquitos with chicken wire. While I appreciated her folksy reference, I finally chimed in at that point, saying that the virus is mostly suspended in water droplets that are big enough for the mask to stop and that people tended to fair better when they received a low dose of the virus as apposed to a large dose. Nobody was convinced so I just shut my mouth.

Then the guy behind the counter asked where I was from and what I was doing in town because he hadn't seen me before. This is the 4th time someone has said that to me while in town and I haven't gone into town much (less than 10 times). I think they thought I was antifa or something with my hair that hasn't been cut in over a year and no shave in 5 days. I should have trashed the place and burned it down to make their fears realized, but I hate violence so I just left and ate my sandwich on the bench outside.

I wondered when, and how the Trump administration would claim that they ended Covid. Today I have my answer.
