If trump challenges PA results and ACB is seated, I would think we are basically fucked on anyone who votes absentee/mail between oct30/nov6. This is setting up to be a massive issue if it’s close and challenged. SCOTUS will throw out legal votes as defined by state law.

Vote early early early.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Thus, the mad rush by Graham, et al to get her seated tout de suite.

I just do not see how they ever could erase them or whatever. The only thing that attaches the ballot to a name is the return envelope. They will start counting them at 7 am on election day. The first step is to remove it from the return envelope and then take out the secrecy envelope. once that happens there is no way of knowing when it came in.

some could have postmarks, surely. but again that is on the outer envelope and these places are opening them once they get them at that point.

you don't think they'll remove them from the return envelope when received? That would make sense for expediency's sake.

they legally cannot. that is part of the pre-canvassing process.

but yes, removing them from both envelopes would make the most sense. could dump totals right as polls closed because the scanning is by far the fastest part. republican leadership won't allow a vote on it. they know it will pass but they want something in return still-- no drop boxes, poll watchers from outside the county, etc.

they much prefer to make the process as hard for to voter and the county employees, despite most of these counties being lead by fellow republicans.

a week ago precanvassing felt like a real possibility but just a day or two ago it died for good. will need to win the state house and senate to get anything done there.

The star (50 cent) shared an image from what appeared to be a news broadcast, displaying the "top tax rates by state under [the] Biden tax plan."

Among the states mentioned was New York, which the broadcast said would be taxed at a rate of 58% while New York City would be taxed at 62%.

"WHAT THE F--K! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT," wrote Jackson in the caption. "F--K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f--king mind."

You guys aren’t giving Trump and the Republicans enough credit. They can go to court to seek an injunction against counting “fraudulent” mail-in ballots and count on Republican-appointed judges (and justices) to back them up. They can make mail-in ballots disappear then count on those same judges and justices to say there’s no remedy (as they did in Bush v. Gore) for the missing ballots, such as allowing people to re-vote. There’s no end to the skullduggery the Pubs may try, knowing Republican judges will back them up. If I heard correctly they’ve already got about 40 election cases pending around the country.

I am back to thinking Trump is going to win again.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump- ... paign-call

I read articles on 538 about how Trump is doing better with black and Latino voters this time around and everything depends on white people.

I don't trust white people.

He's out there, with his energy, running big rallies, people are turning out, people are angry and tired of corona, he's telling them they're right, everyone who voted for him in 2016 will do so again, all I see are Trump signs all over Bucks County.

We're fucking doomed.

Adm. McRaven (ret), who was the leadership during the Bin Laden raid said publicly that he is voting for Biden. Back a few weeks ago Gen. McChrystal, who was fired for several things including insulting Biden, said he is backing Biden. Leaders gonna lead (McChrystal is an excellent leader, he just displayed a flaw in public).

He had massive voter party change towards the end of his campaign and new registrations for R. Same is happening this year in swing states.

It's not great.

Lately, yes, but over the last 4 years D registrations outpace R. I understand that we're all gun shy after 2016 and with the whole voter suppression thing but this race is nothing like 2016 right now. In 2016 all polling, national to district, in the last 2 weeks showed a tight race and we all ignored it (myself very much included). It's showing nothing of the sort right now. Just need to avoid any major October surprise and things should be fine. Not impossible for trump to win by any means but it's going to be difficult at this point.

I like the terrified non-complacency guys... but 2020 would need a 2016 late close by Trump and like a 3+ point polling error. As has been explained by smarter people, 2016 was a year where there were two sub-50% popularity candidates where the undecideds broke late and heavily to Trump. That does not seem to be the issue here with Biden being above water in the favorable ratings. I hope I'm right.

That is just Trump blowing smoke up his staffers' rears. Don't fall for the propoganda. I realize that 2016-induced PTSD is a real thing.

He made this call in direct response to this article, just published by the NYT, that paints a very grim picture of the last days of the Trump Administration:

Also would like to point out in 2018 republicans got clobbered. You can certainly be nervous but turn that energy into action.

Interesting tidbit-- more people have voted in Texas already than voted for Trump in TX in 2016. Their early voting numbers are insane.

I love the fact that voters, by and large, have gotten the messages to vote early and not trust USPS. I feared we wouldn't know the results until around Thanksgiving. Now I am thinking it will be called, if not on Election Night, within a few days.

Ice never watched The Circus on Showtime. Have it on while I work and Alex Wagner just interviewed three percenter militia people and holy shit. These people are out of their minds. They basically repeat propaganda word for word.
