I don't even get what they would be denying. So what some guy emailed Hunter about meeting with Joe. There's no proof (a) Joe met with him and regardless (b) the whole point is Joe's efforts in Ukraine were part of a very open state department sponsored and international effort to get rid of a prosecutor because said prosecutor *wasn't investigating corruption* in Ukraine. Maybe there's some nefarious connection but at this point it's been out in the open for over a year and nothing has come up.

I think he's campaigning somewhere most days, or at least I've seen lots of things saying he's here or there. The issue, I think, is more that the media follows Trump around like puppy dogs reporting on everything he does. We saw this with Clinton is 2016. Trump knows how to get the press and he has a high probability of doing something insane on any given day.

I think it's also true of narratives much of the time. Trump's narrative gets more press and exposure than Biden's. Think of the court packing thing. Biden keeps getting asked about court packing, but Trump and the GOP have been court packing for a long time. In fact, the reason the dems are considering using constitutional grounds to expand the court is because the GOP has been pushing the legal boundaries to pack the court. Instead of it being seen as a defensive move, it's being seen by most of the country, contrary to common sense, as an offensive move and against the constitution.

I think Trump is looking to exit the debate. Maybe he can’t pass the covid test. His campaign is contesting the questions. He also Is also after Welker preemptively arguing that it will be unfair and during campaign rallies in Arizona he described Welker as a “radical Democrat.” That guy, one trick pony.

I almost feel bad for him, but what a stupid mistake.

I wonder what they'll do. It was obviously inappropriate, but he wasn't trying to expose himself or anything. I could see them making him an example to make sure this thing doesn't become a thing, but I could also see them giving him time served.

No, it's just someone on twitter who grabbed New Yorker cartoons and added that caption to all of them.

Normally I would credit him, but he seems like a jerk.

My guess is that the texts are real but didn’t come off that laptop, they were gotten in a (somehow) more unsavory way.

On the Hunter stuff, it’s the same playbook at 2016 with Hillary and her emails. Energize the base by saying look at these liberal elites, completely above reproach, these politicians are all the same, I’m different, etc. It’s hilarious because Trump is 100X worse and it doesn’t matter because they like his policies, style, etc. The downside to running back the 2016 playbook is Trump is the president, he is really fucking bad and the economy is going to be a mess for years and he thinks a COVID-19 vaccine will solve his problems. Also, he is running against Joe Biden, not Hunter Biden.

Remember I said multiple times that there would be fake technology stuff. We haven't seen it yet. I'll be surprised if there's no fake video. In a con, you start with the real stuff.
