If you're of the belief that the main reason he wants to stay president is to avoid jail, I'd say the odds are pretty low. I'm sure he'd try to secure a pardon from Pence if he were to resign, but I'm not nearly as sure that Pence would give him one.

Pence can't pardon him for state issues. Plus, I don't think you can be pardoned unless you are convicted first.
