First Papa Lieberman helped torpedo the public buy-in for the ACA and now Son Lieberman is in Georgia throwing a hissy fit and refusing to drop out. I think the criticism that if Warnock was a better candidate it wouldn't matter... but I still am annoyed by Lieberman's petulance.

Probably goes in the COVID thread, but DeSantis wants to Fight for the Right to Party (College kids should be able to do what college kids do, like get COVID).

Once the EC votes, there is nothing Trump can do to stay in power. I don't GAF if he concedes.

I hope he loses and tries to refuse to transfer power. He’s out no matter what if he loses so it would be nice for him to disgrace himself in an indefensible (which is a word that may not apply to Trump since his supporters seem to always find a way to defend him no matter what) way on his way out.

I have a faith in the conservatives on the SC. They are all serious jurists and are not beholden to anyone, let alone Trump. That's the beauty of lifetime appointments.

Shower thoughts: the only way that the second amendment is jeopardized is if there is a wave of backlash against Trump's appt of conservative judges. Amendments to the constitution occur outside of the executive and judicial branches entirely. So packing the courts with 2nd amendment supporters could have the opposite effect.
