Mr. Smith, economic advisor to the president, is right, 40 days before the election the GOP is very interested in economic development for the black community and has defaulted the the president’s go to mode of cracking open the government vault to creativity bribe voting blocks. No president in modern history has done this so freely and publicly.

BLM Head was ejected from his temporary post after 424 days since he was never appointed or confirmed. He did issues 'secretaries orders' that "allowed" him to ignore the constitutional requirement of confirmation. That is a wildly audacious bid for remaining in power. Sort of like a Jr. EO

Trump may test this. John Roberts made his bones in Florida, 2000. 6 months later he’s appointed to the Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit-the most important of them-with no judicial experience. Less than five years later he’s the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

It’s not really about whether they’re loyal to Trump or not. They’re loyal to preserving white Christian minority rule and our economic kleptocracy. When they say “the republic” or “the free market” that’s what they mean. This is the culmination of a nearly 40 year long project on the right.

Roberts built his career in conservative politics attacking the right to vote, starting in the Reagan administration. Thomas and Alito are fascists. Gorsuch is a weird obsessive textualist who will sign off on all kinds of chicanery as long as it’s not explicitly prohibited by the Constitution. The left was mean to Kavanaugh and that’s now a justification for anything. And the “vetting” of the new nominee probably amounts to feeling out their willingness to go along with this.

If Trump and McConnell get someone confirmed before the election and this thing winds up in the Supreme Court, you need two of these clowns break ranks. Not saying it’s impossible, but I’d bet against it.
