Well that explains it. Also I also turned this trick. Honestly it might be time to switch back.

Executive order to protect statues signed! I may finally get a good night's sleep now that the real problem facing our nation is symbolically addressed.

I'm sure it's BS but the actual EO isn't released yet. Just that promising tweet.

Rumor flying around twitter that Russia has been paying Taliban linked militants to target US troops in Afghanistan, and that Trump was briefed on this in March, but hasn't done anything about it.

Trump is protecting the statues from his golf course in Virginia today.

I was out on a hike that swings around the Potomac to the north of his course and there was a whole squad of support stuff going on. Had a police officer with me who wandered over and talked to the coasties and the river rescue guys and the whole pile of other people and he told us what was going down

Never thought they were all that special so maybe the decline is less perceptible for me.

A couple of the early ones I thought were really good. After that, she just started churning out way too many of them and they seemed much more lazy in comparison.

I thought the first ones were hilarious, but agree there's an expiration date. Sarah Cooper was previously and is very funny, though. Glad she got the exposure and it will be interesting to see where she goes from here.

I thought that maybe New Jersey told Trump he had to wear a mask and that's what caused him to swap back to Virginia. But it turns out that our weather is going to be better than bedminsters.

Maybe he's protecting the fictitious river of blood monument on his course.

On the course, between the 14th hole and the 15th tee, Trump had a stone pedestal built with a flagpole on it, and had a plaque placed on the pedestal with the inscription:

Many great American soldiers, both of the North and South, died at this spot, "The Rapids", on the Potomac River. The casualties were so great that the water would turn red and thus became known as "The River of Blood".

The plaque bears Trump's name and the Trump Organization's crest. The accompanying text reads, "It is my great honor to have preserved this important section of the Potomac River!"

in case you're unfamiliar with this, no one knows what the river or blood battle is, it's not recorded in any history books, and per usual Trump is a cereal abuser of the Potomac where his club abuts

Yeah, interesting stuff. one of my favorite (?) Trump quotes.

That was a prime site for river crossings. So, if people are crossing the river, and you happen to be in a civil war, I would say that people were shot — a lot of them. "How would they know that?" Mr. Trump asked when told that local historians had called his plaque a fiction. "Were they there?"[1]
