It is kind of impressive how often he is able to find a new level of crazy.
But in November 2016, the Republican-controlled Senate declined to pass a bill reauthorizing those funds — leaving the state without $58 million it had expected for the 2017 calendar year. The move led to the layoffs and closure of three call centers in December.
