If saving money is your goal Alaska isn't the best choice.

I don't think the article helps, because it lends credence to the new Republican talking point that Democrats are hypocrites on sexual assault. Citing a background as a prosecutor as some kind of expertise on sexual assault, scrutinizing her Twitter history, saying she must be lying because of who she voted for in the primary, trying to play gotcha with her timeline of events, and questioning why she waited so long are all bad looks. And ultimately, Joe Biden should be addressing this, not newspaper columnists.

I don't know whether or not Brett Kavanaugh assaulted Christine Blassey Ford, but I do know his response to the accusation was so histrionic, so highly partisan, and so full of obvious lies that it should have disqualified him from confirmation and led to his removal from the federal bench. I'll never know if he did it, but I know I wouldn't want my wife around that guy, let alone him making decisions that impact 330 million Americans.

Likewise, no one (other than two people) knows whether or not Biden assaulted Tara Reade. However, his response thus far has left a lot to be desired. He ignored it for too long, and then his campaign lied and claimed the New York Times cleared him; it did not. He left mostly female surrogates hang out to dry defending him while he remained silent. His long history of both questionable behavior toward women and constant lying about his life don't leave me inclined to give him any benefit of the doubt. I hope for the country's sake he can clear some things up tomorrow when he goes on TV.

This is so frustrating, because Trump admits to assaulting women and has many, many credible accusations against him with no consequence. 95% of Republicans either don't care, or are even more supportive of him because of it. And getting this guy out of office before he does any more damage is so vital. It's terrible. But taking the accusation against Biden seriously, giving him a chance to respond, and approaching it with an open mind are still the right things to do if the Party wants to maintain any kind of credibility.

Newish strategy, blame China, same sanction them for COVID, cancel the US debt, and claim that Obiden made this happen.

Like so often in today's climate I feel like I receive totally different information than others.

I suspect after Biden addresses things tomorrow the Reade story, true or false, will recede to the FNC/Boomer Facebook portion of consumption and not affect anything, unless he completely fucks things up during the interview or Reade has new info.

I would hope that in a potential Biden administration he would change his stance from the Obama years on college sexual harassment/assault cases, so young men are afforded any due process rights he is getting.

I think there are jobs in remote areas where the pay is crazy high. But I figure worst case is I end up in some Northern Exposure situation and I find myself and fall in love with a pretty girl, all while surrounded by a cast of quirky characters.
