The depressing part is that millions and millions of people will continue to vote for Republicans, despite the naked corruption, the staggering incompetence, and the clear lack of intellectual capital in the party. Assuming Trump loses in November, the last two Republican administrations will have ended with many dead Americans and an economic catastrophe. In return, rich people got a tax cut. Part of this is the political ineptitude of the Democrats. Instead of linking Trump and Bush as two of a kind, they've rehabilitated W as some kind of decent guy who paints pictures and pals around with Michelle. They'll probably do the same thing with Trump when the next Republican becomes president.
