Saw someone mapped the NJ-03 results on Twitter earlier today so checked the Burlco election site and finally they did have municipality results up.

MacArthur won Medford, but only by 77 votes out of over 12k cast (which is f'ing bonkers turnout in a midterm, 2016 was under 14k votes). Disappointing to see Hugin only won by 13%. Would've guessed 20%.

Figure Kim has a very good chance of winning it in 2020 unless the GOP gets a good opponent. Trump also very well could lose it. So a Dem winning Medford is still something that hasn't happened in my adult lifetime, but it is looming. And makes me pretty sad (not Trump losing it in particular since he sucks and I wouldn't vote for him no matter what, but my party should be nominating people who win the approval of significant majorities of people who live in Medford rather than aiming for people who live in West Virginia).

It would be really great if we started seeing some espionage indictments. He may be holding that for later, but this is the type of evidence that could make charges turn more serious. Then we wouldn't have to hear Ghouliani say these are just process crimes.

I’d like to hear from Giuliani, because let’s face it every time that cat talks he just makes the whole more and more like a creator. When I think about it I’m impressed that I haven’t heard any insanity from him in the last week or two. Sunday sounds like a good day for that. But instead of changing the topic stone, I think if he shows up he totally invalidate any reasoning whatsoever at the wall should fall under emergency statutes.

Can someone explain this concept that colleges are factories the focus on cranking out liberals? I was surprised to hear this from a friend, who is educated, and has a high paying career. I was not up to fighting over it given everything else we were talking about last night. I’ve always taken that position as an antieducation disposition held by people who live in areas without access to higher education. I’ve always viewed it through the lens of my youth where many of the people I grew up with, and their families, thought college made you a self important jerk.

Maybe it's rooted in the 60's when liberals often fought against the Vietnam War on college campuses. People for the war complained about college kids being against the war and refusing to fight.

Most professors are also probably liberal, so that might have something to do with it.

In present day, having a brain and using it is also cause for disdain, so the anti-intellectual thing is pretty real.
