Are normal Republicans at all concerned this shutdown is showing the masses all that ‘government’ actually does? Who the workers actually are?

It seems Trump and Co. have effectively sidelined themselves from any real negotiations, which will have to take place in Congress, mostly I guess between McConnell and Pelosi, though they may let Shumer in for yucks. The deal will probably look a lot like the deal that Trump didn't sign back in December because the TV told him not to. (Maybe a couple of more bucks for the wall coupled with real DACA reform. The Fox news fox are going to scream bloody murder. I guess Trump could veto the deal, but that really does force Trump to own the shutdown, and at that point, maybe Congress overrides the veto anyway.

I could be wrong.

Republican can tell Pence what's what, but I don't think Donny's gonna listen. I don't think I'm wrong about that.

That's what they're afraid of. Most can't win in their states if he turns on them. He has to be much more toxic within the R party for it to be safe for them to rebel. And given the floor so far is around maybe 35% approval, he's been able to hang on and maintain discipline (thanks to mitch, as well).

Mueller is our only chance. He has to have the goods so locked up that nobody can deny Trump's guilt. It's a tall order

JH is simply pointing out that she goes fact free sometimes then went confronted rather then be accountable she slides into a place where her spin is basically that she changes the subject. She either doesn’t know what she’s talking about, or she knows completely that how she’s representing certain things lacks truth or foundation. I’m not really sure which is worse. She is great at clapping back and trolling, so she’s got that.

Most of this wouldn’t matter if she weren’t the new GOP demon. There’s a solid investment in defaming a young freshman congresswoman. In almost any other time and with every other person a freshman congressman would simply be laughted at and ignored. Anybody with half a brain knows that freshman congressman have little power and less ability to actually get things done, except now that she is getting thousands of times more exposure because of the GOPs actions.

FBI has arrested Roger Stone. 6am this morning in Florida.

Trump should resign in the coming days. It’s going to get worse, and it would save a lot of pain for the country.
