well, progressives, it's becoming fairly obvious. AOC is going to be the Next Big Thing. The R leadership and their bosses will attempt to Hillary-ize her and attempt to make her into a demon. So if you don't stick up for her we're gonna end up with another lionized candidate that the R Spin machine has poisoned not only to their base but a chunk of the progressive base too.

I thought about this and I do think that there a bunches of voters (and more importantly those in the swing states) that voted for him 2016 and would NOT vote for him in 2020 (depending on the nominee). I absolutely believe that there are some centrist Rs who (1) may or may not have hated Hillary; and (2) really convinced themselves that once Trump took office, he'd become more "Presidential" and would have a gaggle of traditional Republicans protecting the country from his wildest impulses. That was definitely a theme that people convinced themselves of. They won't be able to do it given the insanity of his actual first term. Just my take.

This. They are trying to poison the well and make her out to be something she is not. I don't like everything she has done or said, but they are trying to ruin her because they know how dangerous she is to their money stream.
