he sucks and calling sociopaths geniuses just encourages their shit behavior. he's a union busting, media hating weirdo with good product ideas and a sociopathic drive to reach them at any means necessary.

im currently referring to his latest twitter tantrum about BIASED media against him because he doesn't like that the media covers autopilot crashes after the same media has slobbed his knob for the last 6 years. his new thing is to make a new company that allows people to rate the truth of stories and journalists and institutions.

and it sucks to see tesla and space x reduced to LOOK AT WHAT ELON DID when i'd assume he did not write one line of code for any of them. he is a uniquely driven, generally intelligent, great salesman and these companies wouldn't exist without him. but you don't have to stomp on any person or regulation in your pathway to become him. i mean, hes basically gavin belson.

Yeah, and I have no idea what radio station I want to listen too either. All of the stuff I used to listen to is long gone.

On both WFMU and WWOZ there are shows that focus on certain genres. Like I said, it depends on what you're into. I guess one reason I dislike pandora and playlists on spotify is because after 20 minutes or so I generally get bored with a particular genre.

All sorts of dancing, so I assume so. Plus, she has blue hair and a nose ring!

I know I made a jokey post upthread, but JUbu is mostly right. Tesla and space x are great and important endeavors, but Musk is kind of a shitty about it for the reasons jubu pointed out. I hadn't seen the media stuff, but it doesn't surprise me based on what else I've read. Specifically the working conditions at Tesla and Space x. Don't know I'd go as far in terms of saying he sucks, but he's not as great as he's portrayed either.

usually in favor of any technology that saves me from having to interact directly with a human but I'm growing to hate hate hate the iPads at airport bars. Two of them are broken at the place I'm at now and the one bartender refused to help saying they can only take orders through the iPads. So I sat here swiping every card in my wallet over and over before another guy comes over and is magically able to take my order and ring me up behind the bar.

Saw this really lovely woman on the train this morning. She sat across from me in a seat. I was sitting there thinking how pretty she is and then she reached up into her nose, pulled out a booger, and slipped it into her mouth. At first I wondered if it was just an illusion and then she did it again. The day has been downhill ever since
