Yeah, he may not even know he has it yet. If it's a luggage pocket he never uses it may be years before he notices it.

Why don't you facebook the details like approximate time, what gate & airport, description of bag, etc., and then we can all share it? Worth a shot. Unless everything is easily replaceable/already replaced.

yeah it's just credit cards and the like. I'd have to cancel the cards even if he did return it. it was definitely a 3 hour or shorter flight yesterday and not international

Put it on redditt, I've seen people find stuff on there in similar needle/haystack situations. You could put it on the r/Philadelphia, r/Pennsylvania and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of lost and found one too.

My wallet is looking pretty beat up these days. It's probably about 5 years old. Maybe older. I really have no idea. It's not new. I wonder what the life expectancy is for a wallet.

Not sure what I would do if I found a random wallet in my bag after a flight.

I may try to google or facebook the owner and see if I could contact them.

or call Homeland security about the situation assuming it is a trap.
