I guess we now have "official" confirmation that the idiot movement is about religious intolerance and not public safety.

Not that we didn't already know that.

This guy needs to be dropped like a bad habit by the Republicans. But they won't do it. Pathetic.

@RealDonaldTrump
What is our country coming to when a judge can halt a Homeland Security travel ban and anyone, even with bad intentions, can come into U.S.?

This one is great. He does realize that his people are overseeing national security, right? Perhaps instead of focusing on the court decision you should spend time ensuring that the vetting process in-place is adequate. Nope. Petulant child. He's used to getting everything he wants and when he doesn't he throws a temper tantrum. Blames everyone else but himself.

Correct. He's the perfect cover. They'll blame him like they did Obama eventually. Zero accountability.

Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump 2m2 minutes ago

Why aren't the lawyers looking at and using the Federal Court decision in Boston, which is at conflict with ridiculous lift ban decision?

And another tweet. His 7th on the topic today while he's "vacationing" for the weekend in Florida. You know, the guy who said he wouldn't ever take a day off in office.

To be fair, we're probably better off if he's out of the white house.

He's got family in NYC; he's in Florida

Well for starters, at some point recently, the far left decided if they disagree with someone the answer is to riot, destroy property, attack and injure people and create anarchy. Mind you this is simply for disagreeing with a person's political views.

Something really bad is going to happen soon. You can see it coming.

You don't see the reaction of liberals as a mirror reflection of the tea party? There are quite a few similarities... Anger, protesting against divergent values, a few bad actors, and not a ton of understanding of their opponents.

I would disagree with at least some of this--I think many, if not most protestors on the left understand their opponents quite well.

You can look at the posts in this thread for broad generizations about the goals of the GOP, motivations of Trump supporters, etc that are far from accurate.

Maybe we can tackle a few - have an example?

Has a single Republican member of Congress called for Bannon's resignation? What are they waiting for? I don't mean that rhetorically by the way. Bannon has made no secret he opposes liberal democracy, the principles this country was founded upon.

I am not by any means under the impression that all Muslims are bad or evil. The large and vast majority of them are good, hard working people who just want to do well for themselves and their families just like you or I. I have never argued that.

Bannon is the guy that is willing to say all the things the other stooge Republicans are too scared to say (because, you know, at least they can be held accountable via the democratic voting process). They probably love him. He's like THAT GUY that is at a party that everyone knows is crazy and makes all of the other guys seem normal/great.

Seriously, no slapdown for what he said?

Is it fair to ask why he isn't doing something to help the problem he helped create? He says he's against Trump, but all I hear from him are excuses and he's not doing anything to help. Do you disagree that Trump is a fascist? And hasn't JH and people like him enabled this to happen with their willingness to continue to move the bar on what's acceptable?

I don't care much for Brantt, but his opinions haven't really changed over the past 2+years on these topics. The only thing that has shifted is his appeal for Trump. If I recall, he was somewhat of a Trump advocate for many of the same reasons other educated folks were (e.g., he's a great leader, successful in business, not politically bought [though, ironically, perhaps bought by another nation]). I sense that latter opinion has drastically shifted.

Anyway, I, personally, mock Brannt all the time and as mentioned I don't care for him much. With that said, it's not like I know the guy. He's probably a fine person that adds more to his surrounding community (like BSG) than he takes from it.
