There are protests everywhere, every day, all day. 500 people outside Toomey's office in Philly this afternoon. I mean, there are 1500 people in the streets of Lancaster city right now.

i would like to be educated on how likely/what would need to transpire for a president to be impeached? And secondly, despite being historic, how much of a dent would it really put in the link of those in command? Is this what 4 years will look like?

A majority of a republican controlled house would have to vote impeach him for Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors..
There would be a trial followed by which 2/3rds of a republican controlled senate would have to vote to convict on that charge.

Just seems like a lot of political capital for republicans to spend...

I would say it's slightly more likely one of Jeltzy's trades gets done than Trump being impeached by this Congress.

Because I'm not a big consumer of Fox News I did not know this as shat, Sebastian Gorka. Nothing like some Russian nameed British accented pampas tool describing what a republic looks like. Because he basically goes on to describe something between a monarchy and a dictatorship. he clearly stated that executive orders are from the highest level of government and they must be respected and they must be acted on. Someone here clearly does not know how a republic works. He also seems to disbelieve the protest, it's not that they're not real, it's just that the election happened this is what we voted for so this is what we get, and it would seem that somehow the vote meant that we were giving up all of our liberties.

I looked up Gorka and found that he is one of a bunch of U of London grads that have PhD in irregular warfare. I have not worked with him, but I have with others. It is a big export to the special operations schools for that university.

He must be Trump's secret weapon on terrorism because he wrote some books about defeating jihad.

538 says differently but it's data had caveats of not being able to tell much from past events.

My Twitter feed hasn't been this happy since the night of the Wisconsin primary. Also expect it's all downhill from here just like that. But good moments are good.
