Agreed. No more personal attacks, JH, especially when I'm not even part of the conversation.

I guess I feel like the real problem right now isn't people like Brantt. All presidents, especially ones with strong views, will have their true believers. That's why I don't bug him so much. I think the real problem is rank and file republicans not doing something about the extreme element that's taken over their party and, for the moment, our government. They know there's a real problem, but they do nothing because they think he'll pass the other stuff they want. They'll stand up to him once they get what they want, but of course there will be a lot of people who suffer in the meantime, and that's not even counting the crappy policies they want Trump to get passed. JH is way too smart and well-versed to not know what a problem Trump is for democracy, but yet we still have to hear pushbacks about little details that mean very little given what's happening. What is JH and people like him, average republicans, doing to stop this? Nothing, and I think that should be the main story, not Brantt.

And I really don't mean that as a personal attack. JH says Trump is a problem, so what is he doing about it? He actually has some connections in the GOP apparatus, are they being used? I'm not saying he has huge power or anything, but every little bit would be helpful, especially coming from within the GOP. I think it's time to stand up.

Business shift from excited to concerned by the WH

For a "businessman" he is proving to be fairly inept. Sure, there are plenty of reasons to marvel at his success, both that he has captured such wealth and that this has happened disputes that he is as incapable as he appears to be, based on bankruptcy filings alone you can make the second call. He plays the angles, which is arguably smart, and has managed to make a business out of licensing a pretty sketchy name.

To the end, businesses expected the self serving gene to kick in to xplode his wealth, and the lack of controls would raise all the ships (on the back of the workers, Putin would be so proud), but no one could guess that his ego would create such chaos.

I can attest that my firm is being necessarily conservative in our approach as we have no idea what petty to crazy thing happens next that puts uor investments at risk. We are only investing in the minimum to sustain our position with minimum risk.

Here is the rub, it's 2 weeks, only two weeks.

Two goddamn weeks.

The Greenwaldians are currently agreeing w Trump about the US being killers equal to Putin and also attacking democrats for being upset with the answer. Typical neoliberals.
