Jamie Moyer is a dick who should retire, he is 46 fucking years old. And fuck brad lidge's ridiculous contract too.

If this happens and Lee ends up a salary dump, I suggest everyone take it out on Grotewold. He deserves it.

It would still be great to get Halladay, but moving Lee to do it would certainly be a bit of a buzzkill. And I think it would be a buzzkill for Halladay, too. I know he was open to coming to the Phils before we ever got Cliff Lee, but I have to imagine that a rotation with himself, Lee and Hamels was one of the reasons he was so receptive to joining the Phils now. He wants to be on a contender. He probably thought he'd be joining a much more dominant rotation.

Mets still favorites to win the East. We'd have had a shot if we had both Lee and Halladay

First off, Drabek, Taylor and D'Arnaud for Roy and a below market extension is too much to pay. If Ruben is thinking "well I can move Lee and recoup prospects to make up for that," that is retarded logic. It's a separate transaction, should affect at all the price tag on Roy.....who by the way is doing everything in his power to d*** over the Jays bargaining position with the tiny trade list and the FL ST thing

Is it wrong to hope that Halliday fails his physical? I guess we should be glad they're actually giving him one, rather than going the Freddy Garcia route.....

One Mariner prospect headed to Philly would be 21-year-old outfielder Tyson Gilles, writes Stark in his latest update..

At the cost of three of our five best prospects and a Cy Young winner who carried us on his back last postseason.

Well, I'd imagine it would include Lee, Felix and Lincecum.

Thank you, Sheldon.

I don't care what the so-called writers are saying right now, logic alone dictates that Rube would never give up this much for Halladay being that he wouldn't even give up a fraction of it for Roy in July. Also, Stark seems to be the main puveyor of retarded deals, that alone says to me that we'll be fine.

Prediction: 2-team deal. No Seattle.

Drabek, Taylor, prospect to Toronto.

Less than three years from the Phillies boards centering on how much our organization blew and the extent to which Gillick and Amaro were going to ruin it, we're coming off a World Series and a pennant and acquiring Roy Halladay.

I'll sleep alright.

If your prediction is correct, we are going to a Gamecock game next year.
