I think there's a difference between the 5/10 rule and contractual NTCs.

I'm almost certain that when a player who has a NTC is traded, you are acquiring the contract as is, including the NTC, which remains in effect. Obviously, once a 10-5 guy is traded he is no longer a 10-5 guy.
