First big hand of the day is going.

Childs raised to 700k UTG, Yang made it 2.5m UTG+1, Childs eventually called as Yang was staring directly at him.

Childs lead 3m on the flop and Yang instantly moved all-in to cover Childs.

Childs tanked for a VERY long time, stared Jerry down, tried to talk to Jerry a little who didn't move or look at him at all. Eventually Childs folded, showing QQ.

Yang did not show and scooped a huge pot worth over 11m.

Yang's been aggressive and has raised or reraised preflop 5 times out of 9 hands already.

Tough decision to make for Childs- youre only losing to AA KK 77 44 and 22, Im surprised he didnt call.

It was a weird hand, I don't know how he folded getting 3:1 either. But I'm not sure what Yang's reraising range is there.

Yang jumped from 8 mil to 20 mil in chips in 9 hands- guess he used everyone's fear to be the first out to his advantage.

Yang just open-raised to 2.5m ... with the blinds at 120k/240k.

And Hilm (who covers Yang) flat-called the ridiculous raise from the BB....another huge pot in the works.

Flop AT8r.

Hilm check/calls a flop bet of 3m from Yang.

Pot is about 11m going to the turn.

3d on the turn.

Hilm checks the turn and Yang quickly moves all-in for 13.7m ... and Hilm folds almost instantly.

Yang is now the CL and is running over this table.

Yang is nuts. He raises to 1m now, Hilm calls again from the SB, flop is KJ5, 2 diamonds. Hilm checks the flop and Yang bets 2m. Hilm calls the bet. Turn is a 2h. Hilm checks and Yang bets 4m, and Hilm moves all-in for ~12m more.

Yang makes the call and shows AK. Hilm has a pair and a flush draw and needs an 8/5/diamond to win.

River is an offsuit 6, Yang wins the pot and now has a massive stack with like 50m or something crazy, and I'm off to play golf.

Phillip Hilm finishes in 9th place.

Wow Yang calls an all in preflop with KQ unsuited- this guy is nuts

He finally loses a big pot of 18 million to pocket 3's (he hit a set on the flop)

Jerry Yang beats Tuan Lam for the bracelet just about 20 minutes ago, I dont know details yet but what looked like an early night turned longer than I thought.

Ugh. Yang won. So bad.

Sadly, the table just never adjusted to him properly. The guy couldn't fold top pair .... and people kept pushing into him with hands worse than top pair, over and over again.

You say bad, I say good for us- hopefully he inspires others to play the same way...

A good quote from a poster on 2+2

Jerry Yang >>>> Jamie Gold at life.
Sadly, Jamie Gold >>>> Jerry Yang at poker :(

Apparently Yang has pledged a chunk to charity. He's a devoutly religious man.

That was evident. When he knocked Watkinson he was saying stuff like come on God, please let me win this hand...I will spread the word.....you have annointed me today....I have a calling today.......blah blah.......I thought God only cared about pro football and basketball players.....
