Kingery and Miller platoon at third I guess. Weird to not have a third baseman on the roster

He's been great on defense there as far as I can tell and can pop one every so often. Puzzling.

How does Franco still have options
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

You would think they would first try to flip him for a relief arm. Perhaps they still will. He is what he is, it's not like he's going to find a key in the minors.

OPS over the last 365 days is .704. That's better than I would have thought, though not good.

While the sample size is small and he has definitely shown an ability to adapt, Kingery has looked like garbage at third base.

His last three games there he had five errors in 16 chances. I don't think that's good.

I'm sure he can do better than that anyway.

Franco is very bad. Should've played better. I wonder if it's clearing a path for Bohm. He has to be at least as good as Franco.

That’s even worse than I thought. And Rhys has bailed him out on a few bad throws, too.

Well, if you want to look on the bright side, that means he was playing adequately up to that point. Though I agree he's never looked all that comfortable.

I don’t like Franco much but the timing of this seems really weird.

It does, but with the roster squeeze I'm trying to think of who else you could bump off. Normally it would be a AAAA reliever, but we need all of our AAAA relievers far too much.
