I doubt they're actually serious about it.

It's still not as bad of an idea as Ken Rosenthal's idea that A-Rod should find a doctor to diagnose him as having a career-ending condition one month after his current doctor said he'd have a full recovery (relatively speaking).

I am keeping him in my main league for a good 50% below market value. Traded for him after I fell out of contention last year and dumped.
